As a Director, Business Intelligence, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance and management of business intelligence resources and activities.  .  Develops reports, standard, interactive and ad-hocDevelops dashboards and OLAP and provide supports and maintenance to existing reporting and analytics environment. customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and facilitates deployment of standardized & regularly scheduled reports compiling data from SQL systems and other sources  
  • Works with management team to identify, define and deploy reporting requirements as needed in a rapid manner 
  • Enhances and develops staff skills in BI, Leads and Reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, Crystal Reports and other data management systems  
  • Lead team in efforts to design and develop reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to make effective decisions and manage the business  
  • Monitor existing metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities  
  • Participate in weekly meetings with management and others as needed to evolve and refine business intelligence and reporting needs 
  • Provides the foundation for subsequent information delivery development while using data knowledge, metadata integration, and the appropriate toolset in support of business information needs  
  • Develop and Coordinate Business Information Access Layer changes with the Query/Report Analysts  
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information   
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department 
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements 
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards 

Information Delivery Development: 

  • Produces products providing business users access to the information needed while leveraging data knowledge and appropriate toolsets 
  • Develop and test SQL based queries and format reports from user specifications  
  • Schedule, Optimize, Publish, Manage queries and reports  
  • Develop and test dashboards for key performance metrics  
  • Decision support, complex query construction and ad-hoc query assistance  
  • Report, portal, dashboard, scorecard delivery  
  • Assist users in the appropriate use of query, reporting and analysis tools 

OLAP Cube Development: 

  • Designs, develops, tests and implements multi-dimensional cubes  
  • Design, develop, code and test OLAP cubes. Document technical design  
  • Design and define test cases based on business requirements  
  • Analysis of data source acquisition  
  • Source to target mapping  
  • Production support of applications, including performance monitoring  
  • Provide technical consulting and support for applications as needed  
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation per all project standards  
  • Abides by all policies, procedures and protocols set forth in the departmental, CCS Medical Personnel and Administrative Policy Manuals

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Information Technology or related job experience 12 + Years IT experience; 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience. MBA or Master's degree preferred 
  • Good working understanding of the information technology environment 
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology  
  • Strong multi-tasking, facilitation/presentation skills 
  • Judgment, situation awareness and decision-making
