Position Summary:  Performs a variety of activities to ensure accurate Company reporting of and modeling of financials.  Assists in preparation of standard & non-standard reports, creates financial and operational models, provides financial analysis support to multiple departments & business units, and leading special projects and strategic initiatives within the organization. Conduct ROI modeling, identify revenue growth and cost reduction opportunities, and evaluating partnerships to drive the company’s overall growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Budgeting:

    • Prepares and analyzes monthly reporting packets and coordinates monthly variance reporting justification with business unit management to support business operations.
    • Assists in the development and monitoring of the capital and operating budgets and quarterly forecasts.
    • Analyze financial trends, data anomalies, deviations, opportunities and provide strategies for improvement
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making processes and resource allocations relative to margin contribution.

     

     

    Special Project and Strategic Initiative Management:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of special projects and strategic initiatives aimed at achieving the company's long-term goals.
    • Work in tangent stakeholders Financial Planning & Strategic Analytics, Commercial, Strategy, Sales, & Operations Teams to identify, quantify, execute, and deliver performance improvement playbooks resulting in new revenue and margin improvement.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to track progress and ensure timely completion while iterating on process improvement tactics.
    • Conduct comprehensive ROI modeling for various projects and initiatives to assess potential returns on investment.

     

     

    Revenue Growth and Cost Reduction:

    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through partnerships, market analysis, customer segmentation, and product/service innovation.
    • Analyze pricing and cost structures to identify areas for optimization and margin improvement.
    • Develop strategies and action plans to capitalize on revenue growth opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives.
    • Develop sales forecasts and review underpayment / overpayments to identify slippage.

     

                                

    Modeling and Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with executives, strategy, sales, marketing, and operations teams to align business development initiatives and ensure buy-in support for proposed initiatives and budgets.
    • Facilitate the implementation of financial controls in rapidly-growing Health and Pharmacy business units including but not limited to budgeting, organization structure design, GTM strategy, gap assessment, SKU rationalization, pricing modeling, partnership development, and proformas.
    • Assist with the advancement of customer / vendor terms negotiations and strategic sales expansion initiative aimed toward the CCS's strategic vision and growth by creating pricing models.

Qualifications

  • Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, strategy, business development, or management consulting roles.
    • Advanced in Excel or VBA Modeling with a high proficiency with Microsoft Office suite such as Word and Power Point required.
    • Technical experience with Tableau, SQL and/or ERP/EPM Cloud or other financial SaaS platforms preferred.
    • Professional experience in the healthcare, pharmacy, care management, value based care, or medical supply preferred.
    • Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct financial modeling and analysis.
    • Must have ability to support back office and commercial office needs in financial advisory, improvement, and reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and modeling.
    • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas.
    • Must have ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams.
    • Must be curious, confidence and have the ability to be engaging and outgoing with cross-departmental and varying levels of management teams
    • Must have experience and comfort working in a remote environment and is flexible to meet the needs of the department in a timely manner
    • Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
    • Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and passion for margin improvement
    • Demonstrates strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
    • Demonstrates an ability to know what you don’t know, but want to know
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% (as needed)
