We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical MBA Summer Intern to join our Finance & Commercial Operations team for Summer 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across pricing modeling, valuation support, business intelligence, and commercial operations/sales targeting. This internship is designed to provide a strategic, data-driven experience that will shape our pricing and commercial strategy in the medical device and chronic care management markets.

 

The successful candidate will report directly to the SVP of Finance. The position location is flexible, but the placement must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

Pricing Modeling (Medical & Pharmacy)

  • Support the development of pricing models for medical devices and pharmacy solutions, analyzing competitive pricing, reimbursement trends, and gross margin impacts.
  • Help build and management payor / product formulary.
  • Partner with product management and marketing teams to evaluate strategic pricing scenarios and recommend value-based contract agreements.

Valuation Modeling Support

  • Assist in building long range strategic plan, forecasts, discounted cash flow (DCF) and scenario-based models for AI enabled efficiencies, new product launches, M&A opportunities, or strategic investments.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and summarize key findings for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Executive Leadership, and Advisors on value creation story.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs such as revenue, gross margins, and sales/operations productivity.
  • Identify reimbursement, COGS, and performance improvement opportunities to drive dollars to the bottom line.
  • Analyze trends and recommend data-driven insights to optimize business performance.

Commercial Operations & Sales Targeting

  • Support territory optimization and salesforce targeting models to enhance market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Support market access efforts to expand coverage, increase pricing, and sell solutions offerings.
  • Collaborate with sales operations to align field deployment strategies with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a top-tier MBA program, with a concentration in Finance, Strategy, or Business Analytics preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Interest in healthcare, medical devices, and/or chronic care management.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is considered a plus.
