Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

As the Senior Consultant Digital Health, you will be a critical member of the CCS Health team. You will be responsible for understanding, automating, and maintaining customer reports to enable the development of strategies that drive new customer relationships and current customer engagement for the CCS Health business. You will be a key member of the account management team, delivering analytically robust customer reporting to channel partners, including health plans and employer customers to enhance the customer and member experience.  You will also be a critical partner to the CCS finance and analytics teams assisting with creating business reports and developing procedures. 

 

Primary responsibilities include using data to develop a compelling narrative for customer retention, growth, and acquisition.  You will do this by analyzing clinical and financial data provided by our customers and derived from our care management activities and our biometric devices.  This role will also assist the finance and analytics teams to generate data and reporting that brings to life customer perspectives and opportunities that materially improve the ability to achieve short- and long-term patient outcomes.  Success in this role will require effective collaboration with the Digital Health team, key business functions as well as external stakeholders and partners.  

The successful candidate will report directly to the VP, Digital Health Account Management. The position location is flexible, but the placement must be willing to travel on a limited basis.  

 

What you'll be doing... 

  • Leverage data to provide value to the business and to drive business decisions. 
  • Create innovative tools and reports to assist in customer acquisition. 
  • Leverage analytics and reporting to bring to life customer perspectives and opportunities that materially improve the ability to achieve short- and long-term goals. Must be able to go beyond the "What" to clearly articulate the "So What" and "Now What". 
  • Develop and write business requirements. 
  • Create reports using Excel, MS PowerBI (or similar), and MS Office  
  • Validate data and maintain reports. 
  • Train and provide ongoing support to business users regarding the data and reports. More specifically what the report is, the cadence, why it is important to use and key things to look at within the report. 
  • Introduce reporting innovations that enable us to understand our customers better and more efficiently. 
  • Collaborate and build relationships with health plan, broker, and employer partners to deliver data that meets evolving needs. 
  • Serve as the main point of contact between CCS Health and Finance and IT partners on all new analytics requests as well as data research requests.  
  • Manage Vendor partners including SOWs and day to day work. 
  • Consistently look for ways to adapt, maintain, and automate customer reports where necessary.

Qualifications

What YOU Bring to the Table: 

  • 5-7 years' experience in analytics, research, and/or data science
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and related languages
  • Experience working with and strong understanding of customer data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities well and to prioritize within the resources available
  • Superior project management and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial; ability to drive forward with goals independently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Prior knowledge of administrative and managed care environment
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, Data Science or comparable data disciplined degree are preferred.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Ability to effectively deal and interact with a diverse population; to effectively handle interpersonal conflict. 
  • Ability to demonstrate collaboration and consensus building skills.

  Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ability to speak publicly and deliver effective presentations; working use of descriptive statistics to analyze and draw conclusions.
  • Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science or comparable data discipline
