The VP, Strategic Planning and Development will contribute to the identification, analysis, and pursuit of strategic business opportunities, supporting the development of a strategy for a connected platform focused on patient monitoring, coaching and education. Strategic options that must be assessed include but are not limited to, acquisitions, divestitures, alliances, minority investments and licensing agreements. This individual will play a significant role in the strategic planning process, focusing on significant revenue growth via new service and chronic care initiatives that leverage CCS’ capabilities and brand.
Success in this role will require effective collaboration with the executive leadership team, key business functions as well as external stakeholders and partners.
This role is vital to the long-term success of CCS and is a highly compelling opportunity for a successful deal maker and strategic executive with deep knowledge and networks within the healthcare industry.
The successful candidate will be a key member of CCS’ leadership team and report directly to the Chief Development officer. The position location is flexible, but the placement must be willing to travel frequently.

The successful candidate will have corporate strategy, business development and healthcare experience. The placement will also be a strong strategic thinker, able to assess complex market structures, service lines, and formulate plans to capitalize upon market conditions and trends.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Prior experience working in corporate strategy, business/corporate development for a company within a medical services organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop fact-based, data-driven market analysis to serve as the underpinnings of the company’s strategic plan, as well as develop proactive strategies that anticipate and respond to the changing healthcare landscape.
Extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, including strategic fit assessment, financial evaluations, due diligence, negotiations and closings.
An M.B.A. or degree in business, accounting or related quantitative field, and proficiency with advanced decision support analytical tools.
