As a Customer Care Representative –  You will Ensure all new referrals are processed in a timely manner and help manage the relationship between the Sales Team and the referral source.  This includes auditing orders, identifying any additional information needed and performing system entry prior to insurance verification and shipment of orders to patients


What you'll be doing...

  • Builds and maintains strong, professional relationships with prospective patients, health care professionals, manufacturing partners and outside sales force 
  • Enters all pertinent patient, product, physician, payor, and referral source information into system accurately and timely
  • Conducts inbound and outbound calls to patients, physicians, and referral sources as needed 
  • Accurately processes orders submitted by Field Sales Team (Account Executives) in a timely manner
  • Ensures quality of documentation supporting orders meets the criteria required by internal and external organizations; Uploads and attaches documentation to appropriate sales order in Brightree 
  • Informs Sales Team and referral sources on current company processes, services, and product offerings when requested 
  • Identifies documentation needs that may be addressed after shipment is released and those that must be in place prior to shipping to ensure clean claims submission and timely order fulfillment; Records missing documentation appropriately within Brightree 
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism when speaking to all internal and external customers 
  • Recommends the appropriate products based on the patient’s needs and insurance coverage to referral sources and Field Sales associates 
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information 
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department 
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements 
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

What YOU Bring to the Table:

  • High school diploma or GED required and one to two years customer service experience preferably in a medical setting and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately perform data entry and pay close attention to detail.
