  • Overview

    While performing general agent duties, assists departmental management with the daily application of processes and procedures.  These responsibilities include informational support, on-going agent education, and assists in coordination of work process flows.


    • Compiles and processes call statistics and review material for department manager
    • Assists in coordinating work process flow
    • Facilitates intermediate employee training
    • Leads by example to promote professionalism in all areas
    • Develops on-going evaluations for accuracy
    • Tracks and reports productivity to ensure goals are met by individuals and by the overall team; makes recommendations, questions and/or concerns that may affect the performance improvement of the department
    • Creates procedures and sets focuses for the work group
    • Assists supervisor/manager with employee training and development initiatives
    • Ensures proper documentation of procedures which are not to exceed monthly maximum
    • Demonstrates accountability and responsiveness to the needs of patients
    • Monitors internal errors
    • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
    • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department


    • High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent and 3+ years call center experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Demonstrated ability to interpret documents such as Medicare/Medicaid regulation and procedural manuals
    • Proficient with various Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
    • Demonstrated ability to accurately perform data entry and pay close attention to detail
