The Territory Manager-Business Development (Philadelphia area) will provide support and contribute to CCS Medical’s goals through calls, clinic presentations, new clinic development and Medical Supply Specialist Liaison transitional coverage.  Responsibilities include the development of new account and the establishment of new On-Site Accounts within qualified outpatient wound care centers.


Essential Duties:

  • Calls on and secures relationships with targeted leads to become a preferred DME provider for wound care
  • Identifies high volume outpatient wound care centers as potential On-Site Accounts and obtains hospital approvals to initiate the on-site program
  • Utilizes effective communication to create awareness with the on-site staff and physicians through clinic presentations and clinic development regarding CCS Medical’s product and service offerings
  • A resource for the on-site staff and patients (as authorized via the Patient Choice Letter) regarding supplies and coverage questions
  • Attends and participates in clinic meetings where CCS Medical and DME issues are of direct concern
  • Effectively transitions new accounts over to a new/existing Account Executive territory or MSL clinic within a defined timeframe.
  • Builds, develops, and maintains a professional relationship with client base and product representatives
  • Provides clinic coverage when necessary
  • Adheres to CCS Medical’s Corporate Compliance Program
  • Recognizes that the clinic is CCS Medical’s customer.  Recognizes on-site rules unless those rules conflict directly with the job description or the Corporate Compliance Program
  • Represents CCS Medical with integrity, honesty and pride
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university and two to four years of sales or wound care experience or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Travel up to 60%
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
  • Possess the ability to learn the basics of our products and must know how to effectively educate on the differences and benefits between numerous products provided by CCS Medical. Demonstrated ability to perform a fine-tuned presentation is a must
  • Uses appropriate methods of communication with prospective clients to gain acceptance of products, services, and ideas
  • Identifies opportunities and takes action to build and maintain strategic relationships between one’s area and other teams, departments, customers, or organizations to help achieve business goals
  • Monitors the results of delegations, assignments, or projects, considering the skills, knowledge, and experience of the assigned individual and the characteristics of the assignment or project
