Position Summary:  

Reviews, researches and develops training curriculum and material across multiple training methods including self-guided technology based, class room, roll playing and video. Is responsible for providing sound and expert advice on all aspects of curriculum development works with leadership to develop and revise curriculum using various modes of delivery including online and onsite. 


Essential Duties:

  • Takes ownership of curriculum development projects, prepares and conducts presentations of progress, updates, etc. in keeping with call center,  healthcare rules and regulations
  • Administrator for CCSU training to include assigning all company training (i.e., to new hires, annual compliance training, etc.)
  •  Utilizes departmental project management tools to ensure overall goals and deadlines are communicated and met
  • Utilizes authoring tools and other creative solutions to design and develops e-learning content in line with company standards
  • Determines projects appropriate for instructional design solutions
  • Collaborates with departmental Subject Matter Experts to analyze job, task or information to be included in the learning to produce high-quality results to ensure each departments’ needs are met and distributes training curriculum
  • Writes statements of performance/behavioral objectives
  • Determines appropriate measurements to evaluate training, including, but not limited to, criterion-referenced achievement tests, questionnaires, simulations, observations, performance checklists and demonstrations
  • Provides classroom support to trainer/facilitator
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Position Requirements & Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in education, business, professional or technical writing or related field, minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in training (adult learning ), curriculum development, or instructional design; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and curriculum development software applications
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Accelerated Learning principles a plus
  • A strong working knowledge of design, brand development and creative process a plus
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization and site mapping.
  • Ability to effectively articulate and present engaging learning in a classroom environment
  • Possibility exists to travel to other CCS Medical facilities, etc.
