Position Summary: Responsible for full cycle recruitment activities for all CCS Medical locations. Additional HR Generalist responsibilities include employee relations, administration of company policies, FMLA, ADA, , AAP, etc.. Ensures department compliance with all applicable employment law regulations.


Essential Duties:

  • Handles full cycle recruitment and staffing (requisition through new hire orientation).
  • Facilitates in-depth discussions with hiring managers regarding recruitment needs, process, strategy, timelines and creates position profiles for telephone screens.
  • Generates candidate flow through various methods including referrals, Social Media, college recruiting, networking, job fairs and internet job boards.
  • Conducts initial telephone screening and possibly in-person interviews to ensure candidates meet position qualifications.
  • Document conversations, interview process, offers and feedback in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with a high level of timeliness and accuracy.
  • Initiates background check, drug testing and other required onboarding processes within the offer of employment.
  • Initiates salary offer recommendations with the hiring manager and extends/negotiates salary offers after approval. Recommends salary offer adjustments necessary to attract talent and based on knowledge of position, salary range, and with consideration of both internal/external equity.
  • Continually evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment processes. Recommends and/or initiates changes for improvement.
  • Conducts orientation and onboarding of all new hires (full-time and staffing agency).
  • Maintains and updates the applicant tracking system for accurate reporting.
  • Completes and submits weekly reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains applicant files according to requirements.
  • Partners and coordinates the temporary process with the management team and staffing agencies.
  • Administers the employee referral program.
  • Provides support in coordinating the Affirmative Action programs.
  • Identifies trends, strengths and opportunities for improvement in recruitment, and achievement of affirmative action goals.
  • Provides backup for FMLA and ADA.
  • Supports the HR Manager by providing input into the development and implementation for HR policies and procedures, and ensures conformity to laws and regulations.
  • Maintains knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Position Requirements & Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent and two or more years of full cycle recruiting experience for multiple disciplines, including technical, administrative and professional positions to include managing an applicant tracking system
  • Bachelor’s degree and two or more years of HR experience preferred
  • Human Resources certification a plus
  • AAP experience a plus
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal relation skills
  • Must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques
  • Strong experience and understanding of utilizing job boards and networking sites
  • Results oriented work ethic with a competitive drive to be the best

  • Good reasoning, multi-tasking abilities and time management
  • Maintains a professional, friendly manner at all times when dealing with employee-related issues
